American Lung Association's Open Airways for Schools
HEALS patients are learning to manage their own asthma while participating in the American Lung Association's award-winning Open Airways For Schools program.
The "program educates and empowers children through a fun and interactive approach to asthma self-management. It teaches children with asthma ages 8-11 how to detect the warning signs of asthma, avoid their triggers and make decisions about their health." The children will graduate upon completion of the program.

Two of the HEALS clinics have been named after Charles Hall, DDS, the HEALS Dental Director and Michael Johnson, MD, the HEALS Medical Director. We appreciate their time and services they have provided to HEALS over the years.
